After an enforced break due to you know what, this month we re-assembled for the Herts Fencing Association County Championships, held over the weekend of 23rd & 24th April at Hitchin Girl's School, the new home of Hitchin Fencing Club.
Despite lower entry levels than we would have hoped, some great fencing took place over the weekend to re-establish the tournament firmly in the calendar.
We would like to thank all those who helped to make the events over the two days a great success from the fencers, parents, referees and those running DT to all the other people helping to make things run smoothly again after the enforced break which has been a difficult time for all of us.
Thanks also go out to Michelle from fencing stuff who provided catering over the weekend as well as a chance to showcase her fencing merchandise which you can take a look at and purchase on her website.
